FPV (First Person View) allows the ability to stream low latency live video from the drone to give the pilot a direct view from onboard the drone. There are two types of FPV systems, Analog and Digital. Analog offers a simple and robust video transmission and is ubiquitously used and cross-compatible across all systems. One major downside to Analog is low video quality and the lack of security (Unencrypted video streams mean anyone with a video receiver can see your drone video feed). Digital systems offer HD video with more latency, higher cost, and locked system ecosystems. Learn more below. We have linked some analog systems that we have tested for the Genesis A.
